Soak the anticalc cartridge in a water bath 24 hours before the first use; the resin has to adsorb water to reach high performance.

This problem is just a matter of positioning of your hands. Please hold with your left hand the front edge (1) of Viktor and with your right hand you push on the marking “push to open” (2). Same process you can of course use to open the door. You might feel that the resistance is quite high, this is on purpose as we need a very good sealing of the back door in order to achieve a maximum of cleaned air.

This sparking noise is from very tiny short cuts that can occur because of dirty aluminium plates. This is the sign that you need to clean the HPP Filter. You can find the cleaning instruction on the side of the HPP filter. If the cleaning result is not satisfying or the sparking noise remains, please place the filter in some water and add some drops of detergent to improve the cleaning result. Please do not forget to rinse the filter with clear water after this precedure.

Fred is a vaporizer which means that all the minerals are kept in the machine. Therefore it is very important to frequently clean the machine (heating element). You can use a standard descaling agent. Plese check the information on the descaling agent. Please add the descaling liquid on the heating element. If the liquid starts to bubble this means that the descaling process sucessfully started. If this does not happen, please rough up the surface by using a nylon brush. This should start the reaction. Please repeat the decalcification process till the heating element is free of calc. General rule for vaporizers: It is better to frequently clean the machine every week than having a big cleaning work every couple of weeks.

If both LEDs are lighted, interval mode is active. This means Jasmine is operating for 10 minutes and then it stops operating for the duration of 20 minutes. More information about interval function you will find in the manual.
